Mississauga, Ont. – The Nissan Z earns J.D. Power best residual value award among compact premium sporty cars for the third year in a row in the J.D. Power 2025 Canada ALG Residual Value Awards.

The J.D. Power Canada ALG Residual Value Awards are the leading automotive industry standard distinguishing the vehicle models projected to hold the highest percentage of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) after four years for mass market vehicles and after three years for premium vehicles. The award process consists of evaluating 282 model lines through analysis of used-vehicle performance, brand outlook and product competitiveness.

The Nissan Z was developed by a passionate team of designers and engineers, representing an approachable sports car for the modern age – with an unmatched global fan base. The Nissan Z boasts a fresh and sleek exterior design with a silhouette that communicates respect to its lineage.

The Nissan Z is available in Sport and Performance grades which offer buyers options to configure a Z that suits their driving style. Both grades feature a standard 3.0-liter V6 twin turbo engine rated at 400 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 350 lb-ft of torque starting from 1,600 to 5,600 rpm. Available with both trims are a six-speed close-ratio manual transmission with Exedy® high-performance clutch or a responsive nine-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

A NISMO grade is also available and builds on the capabilities of the Z Sport and Performance grades for those who seek even more excitement and dynamic performance. The Z NISMO takes the twin-turbo engine’s power outputs up to 420 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. Peak torque is delivered from 2,000 through 5,200 rpm, ensuring drivers have strong performance across the rev range.
