MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Refreshed for model year 2027, the Nissan ARIYA further enhances the brand’s flagship electric crossover and will reach Canadian dealerships early fall.

Since its Canadian launch in 2023, the Nissan ARIYA has symbolised Nissan’s vision for electric mobility, combining strong performance, a smooth and quiet ride, and a spacious, lounge like interior. The latest model year update builds on these core strengths, delivering a refreshed exterior design, enhanced ride comfort and new features to support everyday electric driving.

Design Evolution Inspired by Timeless Japanese Futurism

The 2027 Nissan ARIYA evolves Nissan’s timeless Japanese futurism design philosophy with a redesigned front appearance, creating a cleaner and more seamless look.

The body colour front panel and reinterpreted V motion signature give ARIYA a strong yet minimalist presence, reinforcing its confident character as a next-generation electric vehicle.

Newly designed 19 and 20-inch wheels, combining aluminum and resin elements, add a refined visual contrast that enhances ARIYA’s premium stance.

The exterior colour palette is expanded with a new Plasma Green colour, inspired by natural light phenomena. A range of monotone and two-tone body colours is available.

Inside, a redesigned central console increases the storage space up to 3.2l and incorporates the latest-generation 15W wireless charger.

Advanced Technologies to Enhance Electric Driving

For 2027, ARIYA is equipped with the latest generation of NissanConnect with Google built-in1, offering enhanced connected experience inside and outside of the car.

Experience effortless travel with the standard In-Car Route Planner by Google Maps. Simply say, “Hey Google, navigate to [destination]”. Google Maps automatically integrates the most efficient charging stops into your route based on your real-time battery level. To save time, your car intelligently pre-conditions the battery as you approach a station, ensuring it reaches the optimal temperature for the fastest charge. The MyNISSAN Canada app allows customers to monitor battery levels, manage charging sessions, adjust climate settings, track tire pressures, and much more, directly from your phone.

Charging and Power Supply

The 2027 Nissan ARIYA offers AC charging via J1772 connector and a 7kW bi-directional on-board charger, supporting Vehicle to Load (V2L). For DC rapid charging, ARIYA supports speeds of up to 130kW with a new native NACS port (North America Charging Standard), enabling efficient long-distance travel and reduced charging times.

The familiar J1772 charge port on the driver’s-side fender also allows for plugging in at home and many Level 2 public chargers, while the new NACS fast charging port on the passenger-side fender unlocks the faster speeds of Tesla Superchargers.

Public charging is made simpler thanks to the NISSAN Energy Charge Network2, accessed through the enhanced MyNISSAN app, it allows drivers to find charging stations, see real-time charger availability and pay for charging – all in one seamless experience.

For 2027, ARIYA also adds Plug & Charge3 capabilities. Once setup in the MyNissan app, drivers can simply plug ARIYA into a compatible public charger and the charging session will begin – no need to open the app or swipe a payment card.

On selected grades, Vehicle to Load (V2L) functionality allows compatible external electrical devices to be powered directly from the vehicle via a dedicated connector, providing up to 1,500W of output when stationary – supporting outdoor activities or use as a back-up power source, where permitted.

Refined Comfort and Driving Support

Ride comfort is further enhanced through updated suspension tuning, delivering improved stability, reduced vibrations and a smoother driving experience, particularly over long distances.

Like all Nissan vehicles, ARIYA has numerous technologies that enhance driver confidence and convenience. It has standard Nissan Safety Shield® 3604 on all grades, including Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection4 and Rear Cross Traffic Alert4. It also features Lane Departure Prevention4, Blind Spot Intervention4 and Forward Collision Warning4.

ARIYA also features standard advanced driver assistance systems, including adaptive distance control functions4, supporting relaxed driving in stop and go traffic by assisting acceleration, deceleration and stopping, helping to reduce driver fatigue.

A More Refined Electric Crossover

With its refreshed design, enhanced comfort and intelligent EV technologies, the 2027 Nissan ARIYA adds to its winning combination of confident styling, refined driving performance and everyday usability.
