For added convenience, the Remote Engine Start System lets you start Sentra with the Nissan Intelligent Key® so the cabin can reach an ideal temperature before you get in. Nissan Safety Shield® 360

Get the latest safety tech with Sentra. Nissan Safety Shield® 360 provides six standard features to help protect you from potential hazards on the road. Get to know them all. Sentra keeps an eye out. Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection monitors your speed and distance in relation to the car ahead. It can let you know when you need to slow down, and automatically engage the brakes in a pinch, so you can avoid or mitigate a collision. When it detects a pedestrian in the crosswalk, it can even stop you in your tracks.

Sentra's got your back. Its class-exclusive standard Rear Automatic Braking watches directly behind you for large stationary objects. If it detects that a hazard is getting too close, it can automatically engage the brakes to help avoid or lessen the impact of a rear collision. Increase your awareness. Sentra with Blind Spot Warning keeps an eye on your blind spot area and notifies you when it detects a vehicle hiding there.

Back out of any space with confidence. Rear Cross Traffic Alert watches around the rear of your Sentra and can warn you about cars it detects approaching from either side. Ready to merge? Lane Departure Warning helps make sure you change lanes only when you mean to. If you’re drifting over, your steering wheel warns you with haptic feedback.

High Beam Assist helps you see better at night while being considerate of other drivers. It automatically switches to low-beam headlights when it detects a vehicle ahead and turns the high beams back on when you need them.
